Due Tuesday 2/14
Choose an organic, natural object. Prepare reference images and create a model of the object. Upload maya file to LMS.
Due Friday 2/10
Create a short animation of a bouncing ball. Don’t worry about squash and stretch we will be focusing on that next week. Focus on timing and spacing. If you wanted to complicate the assignment, add change in rotation. This animation should be at least 50 frames and no longer than 100 frames. The playblast of the animation should be from the side camera and then uploaded to your vimeo account. In LMS submit a link to the video.
This is due Tuesday 2/6.
Find a household object, prepare reference images (drawn or photo) and create a polygonal model of the object. Upload maya file to LMS.
Reference videos and planning sketches are due this Friday. Also please email me a link to your Vimeo account for Friday.
Set up a Vimeo account. This is where you will upload assignments. For next week, create an account and upload a video/animation you’ve created. Please email me your Vimeo address.
You have access to Introducing Maya 2011 through Safari online.
I would suggest that you purchase Richard Williams’ Animator’s Survival Kit.
